How do you know if you have the correct beat making software for the job? How do you know if your software beat maker is up-to-par? These are good questions and you should be asking them. The reason you should be asking if you have the right software beat maker is simple: if you don't, then you will never know how good your music might be.

My argument is simply that you may be slightly better off spending a measly twenty-bucks to get a software beat maker that not only out-performed the free-ware by a long shot, but won't have you wondering why your computer is suddenly all "buggy."

Contrary to popular belief, you really can get a lot for your money when it comes to software beat makers if you are interested in a basic music software system that will provide good drum beats you can use for almost any genre of music. That would include hip-hop, R & B, rap, techno, industrial and pretty much any other type of drum beat you can imagine.
